Seattle has a number of amazing organizations that offer adults the opportunity to learn English as a Second Language (ESL) or take other adult education classes. Many of these are aimed at students hoping to improve their job skills or continue on to higher education. Please contact us if you’d like more information about these.
Few classes, however, focus specifically on students who need to learn basic reading and writing skills. Seattle Literacy aims to fill that gap. We specialize in teaching adult students who lack literacy skills in any language, regardless of their English level, because everyone deserves to read.
